Wieger Wesselink received his Masters degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Twente, The Netherlands (1991). From 1991-1996, he pursued his PhD studies at Eindhoven University of Technology, The Netherlands, working on geometric modeling. From 1996-1998, he was postdoc at Utrecht University, The Netherlands working on the CGAL library for computational geometry, and from 1999-2001 he was postdoc at IPO, Center for User-System Interaction, Eindhoven, The Netherlands. From 2001-2021 he was working in the Formal Systems Analysis group (FSA) at Eindhoven University of Technology as Assistant Professor/Scientific Programmer, on the development of the mCRL2 toolset. Wieger Wesselink joined the UAI group in March 2021 as AI engineer.
